IJVAR is an international, double-blind peer-reviewed, Triannual / Three issues per year, highly-indexed scientific journal publishing original research findings and reviews on all aspects of veterinary and animal sciences.
Plagiarism will not be accepted according to the ethical policy of our journal. All received articles are controlled by plagiarism control software (iThenticate or Turnitin program). All of the received manuscripts are checked with software for originality. The manuscripts having reported for a similarity below 20% would be accepted for a peer-review process.
The Anatolian Science Academy Journals are international peer-reviewed journals by the Anatolian Science Academy . The journals are edited by an internationally recognized Editorial Board.
Authors are required to sign a Copyright Form granting the Anatolian Science Academy exclusive publishing rights for all papers accepted for publication. Production will not start until we have received of a signed Copyright
Aims and Scope
The International Journal of Veterinary and Animal Research (IJVAR) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge in veterinary medicine and animal sciences. The journal publishes original and innovative research, systematic and narrative reviews, short communications, case reports, and other scholarly contributions that provide meaningful scientific or practical advances in veterinary and animal research.
IJVAR aims to facilitate the dissemination of high-quality research and promote scientific communication among researchers, academics, veterinarians, animal scientists, and other professionals working in veterinary and animal-related disciplines worldwide.
The journal welcomes interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary studies addressing fundamental, applied, experimental, clinical, and translational aspects of veterinary and animal sciences.

All manuscripts must demonstrate scientific rigor, methodological transparency, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal's aims and scope.
International and Interdisciplinary Perspective
IJVAR welcomes contributions from researchers and institutions worldwide. The journal particularly encourages international, collaborative, interdisciplinary, and multidisciplinary research addressing current challenges in veterinary medicine and animal sciences.
Manuscripts that substantially contribute to scientific knowledge, clinical practice, animal health and welfare, food safety, veterinary public health, or the understanding of animal biology are particularly encouraged.
Out of Scope
Manuscripts will generally not be considered when they:
- Fall outside the fields of veterinary medicine or animal sciences;
- Lack sufficient scientific or methodological rigor;
- Do not provide a clear scientific contribution;
- Are primarily descriptive without meaningful scientific interpretation;
- Do not comply with applicable ethical requirements;
- Or do not substantially conform to the aims and scope of IJVAR.
The final decision regarding the suitability of a manuscript for the journal's scope is made by the Editorial Office and, when necessary, in consultation with appropriate members of the Editorial Board.
